Finkel, M.D. Dermatology Dr. Lawrence Finkel is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist. He is a graduate of The Mount Sinai Medical School in New York and completed his Dermatology training at The University of Michigan. He has additional training in Laser Surgery. He is the father of 3 young children and has diverse interests, but developing enriching relationships and helping his patients is one of his most rewarding! She has been an office worker in a private practice dermatology office for over 10 years. We are happy to have her in our office assisting the practice manager with everything from billing to appointment scheduling. Tammy B., Medical Assistant Tammy has recently joined the practice after having worked as a medical assistant in dermatology offices in Richmond, Leesburg and Sacramento, CA. She recently graduated from the University of Richmond and is happy to take the job we promised to hold for her. She has previous experience in dermatology and strong roots in the community, having graduated from Brentsville High School. She and Lauren make a great team!! >> back to top >> Nichole Thomas, PA-C Nichole Thomas is a physician assistant board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She joined our practice in 2009. Nichole is a Northern Virginia native, who grew up in Haymarket. She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology at Bridgewater College. She then completed her graduate work with specialized training in dermatology at Shenandoah University and received a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. During the course of her graduate training, Nichole was recognized as a Dr. James C Laidlaw Scholar. She received the Physician Assistant Foundation Scholarship and the PA Outstanding Clinical Performance Award. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). Nichole is state licensed and trained by Dr. Finkel to perform total body skin exams, surgical procedures, and to diagnose and treat dermatological conditions. >> back to top >>
